These shoes do exactly what they set out to. They are comfortable with plenty of room for your toes and look nice whipe doing it. Keep in mind, these aren't barefoot shoes. You can't feel the ground under you and they are more restrictive than a traditional barefoot shoe. That being said, these are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn, I felt no need to "break them in" as they were already perfect out of the box. Other dress shoes felt so stiff, it's like you aren't even allowed to bend your feet.
I don't make ablot of money. I usually buy cheap clothes from thrift shops, so spending almost 200 dollars on shoes is a big deal for me, but these were absolutely worth it in my eyes.
I love how they just slip on and you don't have to tie them, dress laces always hurt my fingers and I could never get a knot to stay all day.
My only concern is how long they will last, only time will tell bit for now I give them 5 stars.
I have been wearing Brenton dress shoes for a year. They are some of the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever had. When my employee said we could start wearing brown as well as black, I took the opportunity to get a second pair. I am so glad I found these shoes to stand and walk in all day.
As someone with hypermobility, regular dress shoes kill my lower back. After a long time waffling about investing in Brenston, I couldn't be happier after finally pulling the trigger!
Only slight drawback is that they squeak a lil bit while walking but I'm pretty sure some powder will fix that. If you're considering trying them, do it!

What is non-slip black Brenston?
Hotel & restaurant staff often requested non-slip shoes. We upgraded all black Brenstons to non-slip at no additional cost.
The durability of the non-slip sole is slightly better. The non-slip sole has an initial rubber smell that wears off in a week.

How to determine your shoe size without a printer
Wear the type of socks you'll wear with your shoes and measure your feet in the afternoon (feet tend to swell during the day).
1. Place a sheet of paper so that it touches the wall.
2. Now place your foot on the sheet, making sure your heel touches the wall.
3. Trace your toes.
4. Measure the distance between the wall and the tip of your toes in centimeters.
5. Take that measurement and compare it with our printerless sizing chart above.
